Several nearby counties have already paused new data center approvals as the region reassesses this booming industry.

4. Medical cannabis dispensaries may soon operate closer to schools, daycares and churches (wsbtv.com) — Atlanta City Council is weighing a zoning change that would let medical cannabis dispensaries seek permission to open closer to schools, daycares, and churches while keeping existing buffers in place.
