Atlanta Fire Rescue stabilized the precariously wedged vehicle so the driver could climb out, while Grady EMS, Atlanta police, and HERO crews handled treatment and cleanup.
5. Former metro Atlanta area police officer found guilty of sexual assault (kiss104fm.com) — A former East Point police officer from the metro Atlanta area has been convicted on all five counts in Fulton County for sexually assaulting women, including a 15-year-old girl, while on duty. Jurors reached the guilty verdict Tuesday after same-day deliberations, and officials say he targeted victims during searches or by gaining their trust. Further sentencing details are still developing.
