Arrest Made In Death Of Teen Found Naked, Shot
The body of Bridget Shiel, 19, was found near the basketball court in an Atlanta park in May 2016. Police say her killer was a gang member.

ATLANTA, GA — Police have arrested a man in the 2016 murder of a 19-year-old woman found dead and naked in an Atlanta park.
Christopher Spencer, 28, already was serving prison time for the murder of a couple during a home invasion in DeKalb County. He is now charged with murder for the shooting death of Bridget Shiel.
Atlanta Police Department spokesman Carlos Campos said investigators followed leads for two years, eventually finding enough evidence to charge Spencer in her death.

According to news reports at the time, Shiel had gone to a party with a friend the night before her body was found. Her last social media post, in Instagram, was a little after 10:30 p.m. that night. The friend told Shiel's mother that she got into her car and told the friend she'd be right back, but never returned.
According to DeKalb County prosecutors, Spencer — known by the street name "Crisco" — was a member of the Rollin' 20s, a subset of the Crips street gang. He and another man were convicted in 2016 for killing Samuel White, 54, and his fiancee, Sylvia Watson, during a home invasion in DeKalb.
Video surveillance used during the trial showed Watson being forced at gunpoint to several ATMs and made to withdraw money from them before she was shot and killed.
