Arrest Made In Hit-And-Run That Injured 11-Year-Old
Atlanta police charged Lavar C. Clinton after they said he hit an 11-year-old boy with his car.
ATLANTA, GA — A 38-year-old man surrendered last week after police say he hit an 11-year-old with his car on Sept. 5 near Northside Drive and Thurmond Street.
According to the Atlanta Police Department, Lavar C. Clinton turned himself in Sept. 9 and was charged with hit-and-run.
Police said the boy was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
