ATL Grady Hospital Almost At Capacity With Coronavirus Patients

There's been an influx in COVID-19 patients at Grady Hospital, says hospital officials.

ATLANTA, GA — Grady Memorial Hospital is seeing its highest number of COVID-19 patients since the coronavirus pandemic started. The hospital staff says it’s nearing capacity.

Doctor Robert Jansen, Chief Medical Officer for Grady Memorial Hospital, told WSB that the number of COVID-19 patients is increasing. A month ago the hospital had about 20 COVID-19 patients.

“We are running in the 90s,” Jansen said. “Which is the highest we’ve had.”
