Atlanta 3rd Best City To Get Married: Study
Amount of event planners, availability of venues, costs and many other factors play into this result.
ATLANTA, GA — Atlanta is the third best city in the United States to get married, according to a recent study by WalletHub. The wedding industry is massive - about $76 billion, according to WalletHub - and the average couple shells out over $35,000 per wedding.
The study took 23 metrics into account, putting them in three categories: facilities and services, costs and activities and attractions.
Atlanta took No. 56 in costs, six in facilities and services and 11 in activities and attractions. Factors they take into account range from average wedding cost to venues and event spaces per capita to hotel availability.

Orlando took the top spot, with its year-round destination status and high scores in all three categories. Las Vegas was next, naturally.
They also looked at amounts of event planners, flower shops and bridal shops.
