Atlanta Flight Attendant On New 'Big Brother' Season

The beauty pageant winner and certified yoga instructor will compete against 15 others for $500,000 on the CBS reality show.

ATLANTA, GA — A flight attendant and beauty pageant winner from Atlanta will be one of the 16 contestants on the 20th season of "Big Brother."

Bayleigh Dayton, 25, will be one of the house guests competing for $500,000 on the CBS show, which returns on June 27. Dayton is listed by the show as a native of Lees Summit, Montana.

In addition to the premier — which will be a two-parter also airing on June 28 — CBS, through CBS All Access, is letting subscribers watch a live stream of the house guests' first interviews beginning Monday.

According to her biography on the "Big Brother" website, Dayton's favorite activities include yoga (she's a certified instructor), binge-watching TV shows and Marvel movies and traveling.

And if the bio is to be believed, she's already got her strategy for outlasting the other 15 competitors — who include a former undercover cop, a women's professional football player and an adult entertainer — all figured out.

"I want to be Miss Congeniality [and] not be fake or too nice," she says on the site. "[I want to] just be that girl that people feel comfortable around but still dominates in the competitions. I want to stay clear of the drama and let the bombs self-destruct. But I also want everyone to fear me just a little. My dad always said that defense wins games. So let's just say, my D is going to be full coverage."

Her biography also notes that she is a former Miss Missouri — becoming the first African American woman to win the title — that she was once on a flight during which the plane's engine blew and that she says she gets hit on every single day while working as a flight attendant.

If she could bring three items into the "Big Brother" house, it would be her Bible, her yoga mat and a camera, she said.

Julie Chen returns as the host for Season 20 of "Big Brother." New this season, Marissa Jaret Winokur and Ross Matthews, the winner and runner-up from "Celebrity Big Brother," will be hosting a new Facebook watch show, on which house guests will appear after they are evicted.

"Off the Block with Ross and Marissa" will premiere on June 29 and air every Friday, according to CBS.
