Atlanta Gets Ready to Welcome Dr. Mark Mckenna's OVME to Buckhead

Buckhead Welcomes a New Player in the Medical Aesthetics Field

Residents of Buckhead are getting ready to enter the new year with a whole new outlook on themselves and their bodies with a little bit of help from OVME, the new "medical aesthetic experience" set to make its debut this March. Pronounced "of me," OVME promises to provide minimally invasive procedures designed to enhance the look and feel of Atlanta's residents, as well as improve their outlook on life and up their self-confidence.

OVME is the latest and greatest creation from medical maverick Dr. Mark McKenna, who recently sold his ShapeMed concept to LifeTime Fitness. Dr. McKenna is proud to bring his services to the Buckhead area, and OVME will feature four private, luxury treatment rooms, along with a secluded office for individual consultations. For Dr. McKenna, OVME is the product of a long line of focus on combining medical aesthetics with cutting-edge technology. In a recent press release announcing OVME's grand opening, Dr. McKenna stated that his team "[believes] that the needs of the medical aesthetic consumer have evolved beyond the stale industry landscape." Dr. McKenna hopes to help Atlanta residents realize their true selves by focusing not only on offering "products and services that deliver precise results, but it will also leverage technology to reinvent elective healthcare.”

Former and current patients of Dr. Mark McKenna already know that when they step inside the doors at OVME, they'll be in good hands. McKenna has gained a sort of celebrity status within his community for his tireless advocating for his patients, along with a focus on risk limitation through the implementation of minimally invasive procedures. Dr. McKenna is an alumnus of the Tulane School of Medicine, and following his graduation, went on to practice medicine alongside his father in his hometown of New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2007, he relocated to Atlanta and began his journey with the founding of ShapeMed, a wellness and aesthetics based elective procedure center. OVME is the cumulative product of Dr. McKenna's nearly two decades of experience not only serving his patients, but also innovating on current medical practices to improve the look and feel of final results. A client-facing and transparent approach to elective healthcare, Dr. McKenna is excited to instill his many new ideas into OVME's grand opening and service menu.

A large percentage of OVME's appeal from the perspective of investors comes from excitement for the new and exciting ways that Dr. Mark McKenna will continue to improve the medical best-practices associated with the elective aesthetic procedures that will be offered to the Atlanta area. OVME will focus on introducing new technology to patients, along with a move away from the standard one-size-fits-all approach that plagues the current medical landscape. OVME will offer a variety of skin and facial services, including injection of neurotoxins that promote the look of youthful skin (like Botox and Dysport), dermal fillers that can help keep lips looking plumper and more full, and Vivace microneedling. OVME will also offer a number of body and health services, including testosterone replacement therapy and PRP to help with male-pattern baldness and hair loss. Finally, the team at OVME is excited to introduce a new solution to weight management that begins with an analysis of the patient's DNA.

“Our team has deconstructed every aspect of the medical aesthetic consumer journey and we asked ourselves how we can better serve our clients,” McKenna started in an interview. “We are doing deep dives into design, technology and data to provide a uniquely curated experience for our patients.”

For Mark McKenna, this new expedition is just one of the many ways he is working to give back to the communities and patients who have given him so much. Growing up in New Orleans, McKenna saw most of his business interests destroyed in Hurricane Katrina, along with an uncountable number of families' lives and homes. Dr. McKenna then set to work rebuilding his community by participating in construction of low and middle income housing to help relocate families who had their worlds torn apart following the aftermath of the storm. Now that he has relocated his practice and his family to the Atlanta area, Dr. McKenna is proud to turn his focus to rebuilding the confidence and health of his patients who are looking to feel better or lose weight.

OVME has now also partnered with the Make-a-Wish Foundation to help donate more money to helping children's dreams come true. Make-a-Wish is a registered nonprofit founded to help grant "wishes" to children diagnosed with life-threatening illness and to help ease the financial burden of medical treatment from their families. A portion of the proceeds from all sales of product and procedures at OVME will be donated to the Make-a-Wish foundation to help spread the joy of giving.

For maximum personalization, OVME will offer membership pricing and packages that can help create long-term solutions. Memberships with OVME include a number of exclusive perks, including discounts, special event access and early news, free monthly treatments and peels, and even same-day Botox appointments.

OVME is located in a 1,500 square foot space on Peachtree Road, at 3167 Peachtree Road NE, and clients can rest assured that their treatments will be completed in a luxury and private setting. Because OVME's practice focuses on personalized care, one-on-one consultations will be able to help construct a skin and body routine that helps patients realize their goals for the coming year, and the rest of their lives. For those who do not have the time to make regular appointments at OVME, a curated collection of skincare products will also be available for purchase.

Featuring a completely personal and customizable experience that will help Atlanta unlock their true selves and inner confidence, Dr. McKenna is proud to open the doors at OVME on March 1st, 2018.
