ATLANTA, GA — Jeff Teague is coming home.

The Atlanta Hawks have traded Allen Crabbe to Minnesota for point guard Jeff Teague and wing player Treveon Graham, according to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski.

Teague, the 11-year NBA veteran, spent his first seven seasons in Atlanta from 2009 to 2016. The play-making point guard quickly established himself as a fan favorite for the team, and has a career average of 12.7 points, 6.1 assists and 2.6 rebounds a game.

Teague has seen his numbers dip as of late, though, struggling to find his role on a Minnesota Timberwolves team that has failed to live up to expectations in recent seasons.

The Hawks are also adding Graham, who's had limited opportunity to showcase his skill set during his four years in the NBA.

Crabbe never truly found his footing in his first season in Atlanta. The shooting guard played in 28 games, starting just one and averaging barely over five points a game.

The Hawks have been searching the NBA for a backup point guard to help out Trae Young, and Teague seems like a fantastic find for the franchise stuck at the bottom on the Eastern Conference.
