Atlanta Infant Shot In Finger While At Home
The 1-month-old baby was alert and conscious after the Middleton Road shooting.
ATLANTA, GA — A 1-month-old infant was shot late Thursday afternoon in the 3000 block of Middleton Road, Atlanta Police said.
Officers responded around 5:15 p.m. to the scene, where they say the baby was shot in the finger. Police said a shooting occurred outside of the infant's home, and a projectile went into the home and caused injury to the baby.
The infant was alert and conscious and was taken to the hospital. Details of suspects are unknown. Details leading to the shooting are unknown.
