Atlanta Interdisciplinary Academic Conference Set for March 29-30
Saint Leo University Hosting 'Bridging the Gap between Theory and Application: Agility a Must!'

ATLANTA – Achieving success in the global workplace will be the focus of a new conference being presented by Saint Leo University’s Atlanta-area faculty. The Atlanta Regional Interdisciplinary Academic Conference will present "Bridging the Gap between Theory and Application: Agility a Must!" on Friday, March 29, and Saturday, March 30.
A meet-and-greet session will be 6 – 8 p.m., March 29, and the conference will run 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., March 30, at the Sonesta Gwinnett Place Atlanta, 1775 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth, GA 30096.
Strategies will be shared to assist the educational community on achieving success in today’s global workforce. Professors, students, and industry professionals will present their research on how to bridge the gap between theory and application during the varied sessions.

Through the conference programs, academic professionals and students will have access to up-to-date information across disciplines, have the opportunity to network with others of similar interests, and increase their preparation to compete in the global workforce.
The guest speaker for the conference is Dr. Shelton Goode, president and CEO of Icarus Consulting, a veteran-owned consulting firm, specializing in helping organizations create inclusive cultures that leverage diversity and inclusion for a competitive advantage. Goode is an executive with over 20 years of experience in business and higher education.
