Atlanta Krogers Are Helping Educators, Parents Save On Supplies

Now through Sept. 9, teachers, administrators and parents can save an extra 10 percent on general merchandise at Georgia Kroger stores.

ATLANTA, GA — Kroger stores throughout metro Atlanta and across Georgia are stepping up to help educators and parents save on back-to-school supplies.

Now through Sept. 9, teachers, school administrators and parents who shop at Kroger on Wednesdays will save an extra 10 percent on general merchandise, including school and craft supplies, toys, games, sporting goods, housewares, apparel and electronics.

“This is a challenging time for parents and educators. We are constantly looking for ways to help, whether it’s saving on school supplies or meal delivery to students,” said Felix Turner, manager of corporate affairs for Kroger’s Atlanta Division, which includes Georgia, Eastern Alabama and South Carolina.

“It’s important to show our gratitude for all parents and educators are doing for students in our communities.” To receive the discount, parents and educators can shop in-store at Kroger or via Kroger Pickup using their shopper’s card on any Wednesday through Sept. 9 and simply request the discount at checkout.
