Atlanta Police Officer Shot in Buckhead
The officer was protected by his bullet proof vest.
ATLANTA, GA - An Atlanta police officer has been shot in the city Saturday, police wrote on Twitter.
APD Officer shot in Zone 2 in @Cityofatlanta His vest protected him. We appreciate your prayers.

A police spokesperson told 11-Alive, the officer was shot in the chest near the intersection of Peachtree and Collier roads but was wearing a bulletproof vest.
