Atlanta Police Seeking Missing Man

James Robert Frost was last seen near his Old Fourth Ward home on Saturday afternoon, according to Atlanta Poiice.

ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Police Department is asking for the public's help in finding a man who was last seen Saturday afternoon near his home in the Old Fourth Ward.

A Mattie's Call has been announced for James Robert Frost, 78, who was last seen at about 3 p.m. on Saturday at 400 Ralph McGill Blvd. He was seen driving his green 1997 Ford F-150 pickup truck, with Georgia tag PFA7870.

Established by the Georgia General Assembly in 2006, a Mattie's Call is an emergency, missing-person alert for disabled or elderly people that alerts law enforcement agencies and the public.

Police say Frost's truck was last seen at about 6 p.m. Saturday near Interstate 75 and Northside Drive.

Frost is described as a white male, standing about 5'11" and weighing about 192 pounds, with white hair and hazel eyes. He usually wears tan shorts, according to police.
