Atlanta’s 'TWO urban licks' Listed as One of the 'Greatest Restaurants Around the Globe'

TWO, the only Atlanta restaurant listed, is one of 207 restaurants recognized by Conde Nast Traveler.

Atlanta’s own TWO urban licks (Chef Michael Bertozzi) was named to an esteemed international list courtesy of Conde Nast Traveler. TWO, the only Atlanta restaurant that was named, is one of 207 “of the greatest restaurants around the globe, according to those who eat, cook, and travel for a living,” according to Conde Nast Traveler. TWO is in good company with Alinea (Chicago), Chez Panisse (Berkeley), Au Vieux Comptoir (Parish) Shaya (New Orleans), Le Bernardin (Manhattan) and many more.

This is the restaurant that kicked off the New American trend in Atlanta. Favorites include the salmon chips, topped with fresh smoked salmon, capers, red onions, and a dab of chipotle cream cheese; the brisket-filled empanadas; the scallops and grits; and the rotisserie chicken with mac ’n’ cheese. Sit outside for a view of the downtown Atlanta skyline, says Cherae Robinson, founder/CEO of Tastemakers Africa and Conde Nast contributor.
We are thrilled for the entire front of the house, back of the house and ownership team that makes TWO what it is. It is a great feeling to get a nod from such an esteemed publication for a concept that has been open 12 years, explains Bob Amick, owner and founder, Concentrics Restaurants.
As a Chef, it is a great feeling to have your team acknowledged for their hard work and dedication. We love what we do at and are proud to bring some recognition to TWO and to Atlanta, says Michael Bertozzi, Executive Chef, TWO urban licks.

TWO urban licks has been heating up the Atlanta restaurant scene with its “Fiery American Cooking” since opening in the fall of 2004, making it one of the city’s busiest restaurants on a nightly basis. TWO has garnered an abundance of local and national accolades including Conde Nast Traveler’s “Hot List”, Bon Appetit’s “Hot 50 Tables” and one of Rachael Ray’s “favorite restaurants” in the country as told to InStyle Magazine. Nominated year after year as Best Restaurant Scene and Best Place to Take an Out of Towner, it is no wonder that guests keep coming back for more.
