Atlanta Teacher Victim Of Fake Fraud Alert: Report

An Atlanta teacher and new mother had her bank account wiped out after being a victim of a fake fraud alert.

ATLANTA, GA — An Atlanta teacher and sleepless new mother was a victim of fraud after scammers emptied her checking account, reported WSB.

Shelby Coffin told WSB investigative reporter Justin Gray, that she received a text message warning her of suspicious activity on her account.

She was told the charges would be removed, but instead, $3,500 was taken from her Wells Fargo account.
