Bert’s Big Adventure Hosts Private Holiday Reunion Adventure

More than 350 Bert's Big Adventure children and their families from past trips gathered together for a Holiday Reunion Adventure.

On Sunday, December 2nd, more than 350 Bert’s Big Adventure alumni including children and their families from past trips gathered together for the annual Holiday Reunion Adventure. The festivities took place at Phipps Plaza, where families were joined by the Bert’s Big Adventure staff, members of The Bert Show and volunteers for a magical evening.

Attendees enjoyed an exclusive celebration filled with arts and crafts activities from Carter’s, dancing, pictures with the legendary Santa at Phipps Plaza and more. Families also enjoyed appearances by a variety of Disney characters and a celebratory dinner donated by Maggiano’s Little Italy at Perimeter. Santa at Phipps generously donated photo packages to all families in attendance as well.

Bert’s Big Adventure® is a nonprofit organization that provides a magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® for children with chronic and terminal illnesses and their families. The reunion adventures give the families a chance to renew and refresh the bonds and friendships that they created with each other during their trip to Walt Disney World.
