'Black Panther': ATL Airport Promotes Flight To Wakanda
The fun post got lots of responses on Twitter as "Black Panther," filmed mostly in Atlanta, was breaking box office records this weekend.

ATLANTA, GA — After a record weekend at the box office, lots of movie lovers may be ready to take off for Wakanda, the fictional African nation depicted in Marvel's "Black Panther." According to at least one tweet, Atlanta's airport has them covered.
In a Twitter post Sunday, Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport shared a photo of a terminal with a 7:30 p.m. flight scheduled for Wakanda.
It was only fitting that the post would come from the world's busiest airport. Much of "Black Panther" was shot in and around Atlanta — the latest hit movie to come out of Georgia's ever-expanding film industry. And, to say fans were excited about the results would be an understatement.

Over President's Day weekend, "Black Panther" brought in an astonishing $235 million, according to Variety. That haul blows away the record for the largest Presidents Day weekend opening, far outpacing $152 million for "Deadpool" in 2016.
It had the largest Thursday-night preview gross for a February opening ($25.2 million) and posted the second-best Sunday in movie history by raking in $60.1 million, behind only 2015's "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

Shot in the fall of 2016, the movie was filmed largely at Pinewood Atlanta Studios in Fayetteville, with scenes also shot in downtown's Sweet Auburn district and at the rock quarry at Vulcan Materials in Stockbridge.

Georgia Is Movie, TV Star While Hollywood Is Out
The Atlanta Journal Constitution has reported that about $84 million of the movie's $200 million budget was spent in Georgia and more than 3,100 people here worked on the film.
The film has not only excited fans of Marvel's wildly popular superhero films, but sparked conversations about black representation in television and films. The movie, which features a black hero and largely black cast and has a black director, has inspired efforts to bring minority children to see the film.
For its part, Hartsfield Jackson Airport was having fun with the Sunday post on Twitter, jumping in to reply to followers' comments and questions.
"Are you paying with Vibranium?" the airport asked after one person inquired how much the ticket would cost. Vibranium is a fictional metal mined in Wakanda which was used to make Black Panther's suit and Captain America's shield.
"Is Killmonger on this flight?! A girl needs to know!!" one follower replied, referring to the "Black Panther" character played by Michael B. Jordan.
"We can't release confidential information," the airport replied.
