Sizzling sides, savory sauces and deep-southern favorites are plentiful at five of Georgia's newest restaurants.

While one eatery sells Atlanta's chicken wing staple, another takes an authentic approach to Venezuelan cuisine.

Popular dishes, such as collard greens and cajun shrimp pasta, are found at these freshman eateries.

Patch has compiled details of new restaurants that have opened or will open in metro Atlanta.

Yava Kitchen and Brewhouse, Cumming

Where: 3001 Market Place Blvd.

Cuisine Type: American.

Product or Service: Dishes crafted with wood-fire cooking. Small-batch beers. Cocktails. (specific type of cuisine not immediately available)

“We are not trying to do everything,” General Manager Patrick Padilla said in a news release. “We are trying to do a few things well, using the right ingredients and respecting the process.”

Kick Off Wings, Smyrna
