Bomb Threat At East Point Business Prompts Road Closure

Shortly after 3 p.m. Friday, authorities were at the scene investigating the bomb threat near Cleveland Avenue.

EAST POINT, GA — A bomb threat at a business near Cleveland Avenue prompted a road closure Friday, East Point Police said shortly after 3 p.m. on Facebook.

Details were limited in the afternoon, and the full nature of the threat was not released.

Police released multiple photos of the scene, which shows ATF agents and MARTA Police during the investigation alongside other law-enforcement officers.
