Busy Downtown Intersection Closing For Sewer Work

Crews will be rehabbing a sewer line at the intersection and drivers are encouraged to avoid the area if possible during those times.

ATLANTA, GA — A busy intersection in downtown Atlanta's business and tourism district will be closed overnight Monday and Tuesday as crews work on a sewer line there.

The work is happening at the intersection of Edgewood Avenue and Peachtree Center Avenue. The intersection will be closed 11 p.m.-6 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday, according to the City of Atlanta Department of Watershed Management.

The intersection is near Hurt Park and just north of Georgia State University's downtown campus.
