Kitty Dare Hosts Spring Wine Dinner With Scenic Valley Farm Winery

On Thursday, April 23, beginning at 7 p.m., Kitty Dare invites guests to an intimate evening celebrating Scenic Valley Farm Winery, a Gervais, Oregon-based producer known for small-batch wines rooted in generations of farming and a deep connection to the land. Led by winemaker Gabriel Jagle, the one-night-only dinner offers a curated tasting experience highlighting expressive Willamette Valley varietals in a warm, communal setting at Kitty Dare in Inman Park. The evening kicks off with 2023 Sparkling Rosé of Pinot Noir and Kitty Dare’s signature fried olives, an easy, familiar start before the table settles in. Guests will then be seated for a multi-course pairing menu designed to showcase the nuance and versatility of Scenic Valley Farm’s portfolio. A bright, herbaceous start arrives with 2024 Grüner Veltliner alongside grilled asparagus with artichoke summer salsa. From there, 2023 Pinot Gris is served alongside Sicilian sashimi, thinly sliced tuna with capers, red onion, preserved lemon, lime, and Aleppo pepper–infused olive oil. The menu shifts into deeper, more layered flavors with 2023 “Red Wine & Chill” Dolcetto & Gamay, served with Shirazi salad of finely diced tomatoes, cucumbers, onion, mint, and parsley, dressed in a fresh vinaigrette with sumac and finished with a barbari crouton. Grilled lamb loin follows, paired with 2023 Willamette Valley Pinot Noir and finished with a drizzle of berbere spice, showcasing the depth and structure of Oregon’s cool-climate reds. To close, 2022 “Family Reserve” Pinot Noir, served alongside melted brie and accoutrements, offering a rich and satisfying final note. Tickets to Kitty Dare’s Scenic Valley Farm Winery Dinner are available for $100 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
