Now open, J. Alexander’s brings its signature modern American menu and refined hospitality to the heart of The Battery Atlanta. Known for its wood-fired grill, fresh seafood and hand-cut steaks, the restaurant offers an elevated yet approachable setting for everything from pre-game gatherings to special occasions.

Located at the corner of Heritage Court and Battery Avenue, steps away from Truist Park, the 8,000-square-foot space features a polished interior, expansive bar and private dining room, adding versatility to the destination’s culinary lineup.

“At The Battery Atlanta, we’re always looking for ways to elevate the guest experience,” said Jeremy Strife, Executive Vice President, Development of Braves Development Company. “The additions of J. Alexander’s and Great Big Game Show build on that momentum, bringing even more standout dining and interactive entertainment to Braves Country.”

Opening in early May, Great Big Game Show will introduce a high-energy, interactive attraction where guests become contestants in a live, TV-style competition. Created by the team behind The Escape Game, the concept blends trivia, strategy and fast-paced challenges in an immersive studio setting.

Designed for groups ranging from casual outings to corporate events, the venue will feature multiple game studios, complete with lights, buzzers and a live host. The launch marks the brand’s first Georgia location and reinforces The Battery Atlanta’s focus on bringing distinctive entertainment experiences to the market. Great Big Game Show will kick off their opening with a launch party on May 8 from noon–9 p.m., featuring 15-minute demo games for groups of up to 7. The highest-scoring team will have a chance to win $1,000.

Dr. Stanley Roberts recalls growing up on a dirt road in South Georgia, where the rhythms of life, the care of the land, and the quiet lessons of daily travel shaped who he became. Decades later, he wandered the footpaths of England’s Lake District – trails crossing fields, villages, ancient walls, and hidden gardens – where every step invites reflection, wonder, and discovery. These paths are more than routes from place to place; they are metaphors for life itself. On some days, we wander freely, delighting in the scenery, the sounds, the unexpected turns. On others, we are called to care for the path, to guide, to mark the way for those who follow. Life, like a footpath, asks us to journey thoughtfully, to notice the beauty around us, and to leave the path a little clearer than we found it. Recognized as one of the premier professional choral ensembles in the Southeast, the choir features some of the region’s most talented vocalists and is known for polished performances that celebrate unique and intriguing programming.
