WILLY’S MEXICANA GRILL & HOWLIN’ WILLY’S CELEBRATE 11TH ANNUAL FUNDRAISER BENEFITING BOYS & GIRLS CLUBS OF METRO ATLANTA, ATHENS, & BARTOW COUNTY
The Coca-Cola Company Joins as 2026 Contributor

ATLANTA (April 2026) — Willy’s Mexicana Grill and Howlin’ Willy’s Hot Chicken are proud to announce the return of their annual Give $5, Get $5 summer fundraiser supporting the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA), Athens, & Bartow County, marking the 11th year of their long-standing commitment to helping local youth thrive. This year’s campaign will run from May 15 through June 14, 2026, where guests who donate $5 to the Boys & Girls Clubs will receive a $5 coupon to use on their next visit.

Over the past decade, Willy’s along with the generosity of their guests, have raised more than $260,000, directly supporting programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, and positive relationships for thousands of young people across metro Atlanta, Athens and Cartersville.

This year, Willy’s is excited to welcome The Coca-Cola Company as a new partner to the Give $5, Get $5 fundraiser. The Coca-Cola Company is a longstanding partner of Boys & Girls Club of America. Guests who donate $5 and purchase any fountain drink or Coca-Cola bottled beverage, The Coca-Cola Company will match that $5 donation, up to $30,000.

“This is our favorite time of year, when we come together with our communities to give back and make a lasting impact in the lives and futures of so many,” said Sam Bryan, VP of Marketing, Sales & Culture for Willy’s. “We’re thrilled to expand that impact with the support of The Coca-Cola Company, and we can’t wait to present this year’s check at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta’s Salsa Salsa event this summer.”

BGCMA’s Salsa, Salsa competition is an annual summer event, funded by the Atlanta Falcons Youth Foundation, where youth from various clubs compete to create homemade salsa using ingredients grown in their own club gardens. This year’s event will be held on June 17th from 11am-2pm at the William M. & Betty E. Small Boys & Girls Club Gym in Chamblee, GA. The winning salsa will later be featured at the winning club’s nearest Willy’s Mexicana Grill location for all to try. “Our members and staff look forward to this culinary experience every year that brings our healthy lifestyles programming to life and celebrates our gardening and cooking activities,” said Libby Saylor Wright, President & CEO of BGCMA. “We’re grateful for corporate and foundation partners who help to make it happen,” she added.

The annual fundraiser has become a meaningful tradition for Willy’s, bringing together guests, team members, and community partners to support programs that help kids build strong foundations for the future.

Funds raised continue to support the Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission of providing safe spaces and life-enriching programs that empower young people to reach their full potential.

About Howlin’ Willy’s Hot Chicken

Founded by Willy Bitter following a trip to Nashville, Howlin’ Willy’s Hot Chicken was inspired by his passion for bold flavor and heat, reimagined through a variety of chili peppers and Willy’s signature approach.

The menu features hand-battered, deep-fried chicken tenders, wings, and sandwiches offered in five heat levels—Not Hot, Kinda Hot, Sweet Heat, Willy Hot, and Howlin’—along with a variety of dipping sauces.

The concept began as an outpost inside the Willy’s Piedmont Park location, followed by openings in Hapeville and North Druid Hills, with a fourth standalone location in East Cobb.
