Tanger Outlets Atlantic City, in partnership with the Ducktown Community Development Corporation (CDC) and North to Shore, invites the community to experience the inaugural Ducktown Madonnari Chalk Art Festival on Saturday, May 23. Inspired by the historic Madonnari festivals of Italy, this free, family-friendly event will transform the streets of Ducktown into a vibrant outdoor art gallery featuring live chalk art created by 24 juried local and regional artists throughout the day.
Guests can enjoy watching large-scale chalk masterpieces come to life in real time while exploring live music performances, interactive activities and a dedicated Youth and Community Art Zone sponsored by the Atlantic City Arts Foundation. Festival attendees will also have the opportunity to vote for their favorite artist as part of the People’s Choice Award, with the winning artist receiving a $500 prize.
