Tanger Outlets Grand Rapids welcomes summer with the annual West Michigan Chalk Art Festival from Friday, June 19–Sunday, June 21. The free festival is a regional tradition that transforms the center’s sidewalks into a vibrant, open-air gallery spotlighting local chalk artists of all ages.
Festivities will also include music, inflatables and interactive arts and crafts stations. Professional caricature artists, face painters and balloon artists will also be on-site to keep the vibes high for guests of all ages. A special Kids Chalk Art Event will take place Saturday from 11 a.m.–3 p.m. with chalk provided. Judges will give out prizes and awards ranging from $100 to $1,000 on Saturday evening. Public viewing will be available all weekend, with the festival wrapping up on Sunday.
