Pickleball Meets Purpose: Georgia Appleseed Hosts Young Professionals Fundraising Tournament
Join us to serve up some fun while supporting Georgia children and families
Whether you're known for your killer dinks or have never stepped onto a pickleball court, Georgia Appleseed invites young professionals from across Atlanta to grab a paddle and join the fun at its Young Professionals Council Pickleball Social on Wednesday, July 22.
Hosted by Georgia Appleseed’s Young Professionals Council (YPC), the event combines friendly competition, community, and fun with a meaningful cause – raising support for Georgia Appleseed’s work advancing justice and opportunity for children and families across the state.
Georgia Appleseed is a nonprofit law and policy center that works to improve the lives of Georgia’s children by bringing together community partners, lawmakers, and advocates to address issues related to education, housing, foster care, juvenile justice, and health. Events like “YPC Pickleball Social” help support those efforts while introducing new audiences to the organization’s mission.
Participants can register for the event at one of three ticket levels:
- $25 Social Ticket: Includes event entry, networking, and food but does not include pickleball play.
- $50 Individual Player Ticket: Includes event entry, food, and pickleball play for one player.
- $100 Two-Player Ticket: Includes event entry, food, and pickleball play for two players.
So gather your doubles partner, practice your dinks, and get ready for an evening of friendly competition and community impact.
