A free weekend of art and shopping returns to the heart of Buckhead this fall with 100 artists, live demonstrations, music, food and more. Presented by the Atlanta Foundation for Public Spaces, the Buckhead Arts Festival will take place Saturday, Sept. 19, from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, Sept. 20, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Artists from across the region and beyond will showcase original, handmade works including painting, photography, sculpture, glass, metalwork, wood, ceramics, mixed media and fine jewelry. Festival goers can shop directly from participating artists, meet the creators behind the work and catch artist demonstrations throughout the weekend. A live DJ and food and beverage options from festival vendors and Buckhead Village merchants add to the festivities. The Buckhead Arts Festival is located at 3035 Peachtree Road in Atlanta and will take place rain or shine. Admission is free for all ages and leashed dogs are welcome.
