FILM SCREENING & LIVE PERFORMANCE
A new film, live comedy, music and plenty of Yiddish mischief—Jamie and Eli are bringing the whole megillah.
What happens when two wisecracking Montrealers land in Stockholm to perform and discover a vibrant Jewish and Yiddish world in one of the diaspora’s most unexpected corners? Their new film Swedishkayt: YidLife Crisis in Stockholm takes Eli and Jamie on a gefilte fish out of water journey through 250 years of history and a community keeping its culture, language and humor alive today.
When the credits roll, the mishigas keeps going with live comedy and music from Eli and Jamie. One film. Two funny guys. One full blown YidLife Crisis.
So, nu? You’re coming, right? Don’t make us call your mother.
