The Atlanta Falcons Crucial Catch game on Sunday, Oct. 18, will give fans an opportunity to take action for their health through free prostate cancer screenings offered during game day activities. The goal is to make that "crucial catch" through early detection.
Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University’s mobile prostate cancer screening bus will be located in the Home Depot Backyard, with six additional screening locations throughout Mercedes-Benz Stadium where fans can receive a simple, no-cost PSA blood test.
In addition to prostate cancer screenings, attendees can learn about breast and lung cancer screening and prevention from experts with Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University and Emory Healthcare. Cancer survivors will also share their stories to encourage others to prioritize recommended screenings and early detection.
The event is part of the Atlanta Falcons' Crucial Catch initiative and reflects the shared commitment of the Falcons, AMB Sports and Entertainment, Emory Healthcare and Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University to improve community health by turning awareness into action.
