The Fox Theatre’s beloved Coca-Cola Film Series returns this fall with two nights of classic and contemporary horror, featuring the 1920 silent film “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” on Tuesday, Oct. 20 at 8 p.m. and “The Ring” in Concert on Wednesday, Oct. 21 at 8 p.m.

“Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” will transport audiences to the silent-film era with live accompaniment by Fox Theatre in-house organist Ken Double on “Mighty Mo,” the theater’s legendary Möller pipe organ. Custom-built for the Fox in 1929, the four-manual, 42-rank instrument is one of the largest and most renowned theater organs in the country.

“The Ring” in Concert will feature a screening of the acclaimed 2002 psychological thriller accompanied by a live performance of Hans Zimmer’s score by the Georgia Symphony Orchestra. Starring Naomi Watts, the film follows journalist Rachel Keller as she investigates a mysterious videotape linked to a series of unexplained deaths. Hans Zimmer describes the score’s minimalist, unsettling approach as central to the film’s creeping dread and psychological tension. Released by DreamWorks Pictures in 2002, “The Ring” helped redefine modern horror and remains one of the era’s most influential psychological thrillers.

Tickets for “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” start at $20.50, and tickets for “The Ring” in Concert start at $52.25. Keeper for a Day: Reptiles and Amphibians
Zoo Atlanta is home to a diversity of species of reptiles and amphibians from around the globe. 
From some of the smallest frogs to the most endangered lizards, join the Herpetology Care Team and immerse yourself in the science behind caring for reptiles and amphibians behind-the-scenes at Scaly Slimy Spectacular!
Learn firsthand the level of care that is required to care for these unique and important species. Participants can expect to meet members of the Animal Care Team, meet an animal, learn about our positive reinforcement training and enrichment programs, and walk away with knowledge of how to save species. All participation in Keeper for a Day programs is voluntary for the animals. If you love these scaly and slimy creatures, this program is just for you! 
Before registering, please understand that during this program:

 <li>Participants will perform similar tasks as members of the Herpetology Care Team, which may include raking, sweeping, hosing, scrubbing, and shoveling, and should expect to do some hard work and be comfortable getting dirty. </li>
 <li>Participants will be expected to participate in all weather conditions, lift up to 30 pounds, and be on their feet for up to four hours. </li>
 <li>Participants must have the physical ability to bend, lift, stoop, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time. </li>
 <li>Participants may be exposed to potential allergens such as insects, hay, animal waste, and other potential allergens. Please reach out in advance if you have any questions or concerns.</li>

Each semester, students will gain a deeper understanding of animals’ unique adaptations and will leave with an increased connection to wildlife and a greater desire to take conservation action.

For the first time in the U.S. Southeast, the iconic world of Minecraft will come to life in an immersive, in-person experience designed for fans and first-time explorers alike. Created by Montreal-based multimedia creative studio Supply + Demand in close collaboration with Experience MOD and game developer Mojang Studios, the experience offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to journey into the Overworld beyond the screen.
Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is set to open Friday, Nov. 20, for a limited time at Atlanta’s Pullman Yards. This epic experience invites longtime Minecrafters, new players of all ages and families to step into the world of Minecraft and become real-life heroes on a thrilling quest that combines advanced technology with the spirit of Minecraft adventure under one roof.
“Making our Southeast debut in Atlanta with Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is an exciting milestone as we continue expanding the tour across North America,” says Olivier Goulet, Founder and CEO of Supply + Demand and Co-Manager and Investor of Experience MOD. “In collaboration with Mojang Studios, we’ve created an experience that sits at the intersection of game design, immersive storytelling and advanced multimedia technology, transforming a beloved digital world into a real-life quest.”
As the best-selling game of all time, with more than 425 million copies sold worldwide, Minecraft has become a shared experience for players across generations—rooted in creativity, curiosity, and adventure. Now, with Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue spawning in the Atlanta area, community members of all ages can step into an epic, story‑driven rescue mission, exploring iconic Minecraft biomes and encountering familiar mobs as the world is brought to life beyond the screen.
Although built with the spirit of the game at its core, Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue is designed to welcome players and non-players alike and no prior knowledge of Minecraft is required to enjoy the experience.
During this action-packed quest and scavenger hunt, adventurers will enter the mission, journey through eight Minecraft realms and help rescue the village under siege from a zombie attack.
Along the way, they’ll collect resources and interact with iconic mobs – some more friendly than others. Minecrafters will be able to interact with pandas and dolphins as well as face skeletons, spiders and – of course – creepers. Armed with only their wit and an Orb of Interaction (a glowing interactive handheld device which guides each user through the experience), players and groups will embark on a journey in search of the resources needed to craft a life-saving potion. Upon completion, guests can celebrate their heroic feat with the purchase of a Minecraft memento at the Trading Post. In addition, players can claim a sought-after commemorative cape post-adventure as a reward for attending the experience.
Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue will be open for a limited time at Pullman Yards, located at 225 Rogers Street NE in Atlanta.
