Car Jacked in Southwest Atlanta With Twin Girls Inside
The terrifying incident happened late Saturday night at a Texaco on MLK Drive.

ATLANTA, GA — A terrifying carjacking in southwest Atlanta Saturday night ended quickly with no one injured.
Lester Chaney told WSB that he was getting gas at a Texaco on Martin Luther King Jr. Drive when the gas pump wasn't accepting his card. He went inside the station, leaving his engine running with his twin 1-year-old girls inside, when someone jumped in and drove off.
"I ran to unlock the door, but the door was locked or whatever and the guy took off," Chaney said.

A short time later, police found the girls a quarter of a mile away after the suspect ditched Chaney's Toyota Camry in an apartment parking lot on Hartwell Drive, reports CBS46.
One girl was in her car seat in the backseat, while the other had been removed and placed in a nearby wooded area. Neither were injured, and police have released any description of the suspect.
