CareSource, Atlanta Public Schools Host Career Fair on Feb. 26
The 2nd annual Career Development Fair takes place Tuesday, February 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

ATLANTA – CareSource, Georgia’s first and only nonprofit organization serving the Medicaid market, and Atlanta Public Schools are partnering to host the second annual Career Development Fair on Tuesday, February 26 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. The event will take place at the Adult Education Center at 1757 Mary Dell Drive SE, Atlanta, GA 30316.
In addition to interviewing with top area companies and governmental agencies to explore local employment opportunities, attendees can attend valuable development workshops on job searching, resume writing and review, tips for a successful job interview and more.
CareSource, through its JobConnect program, teaches marketable skills and provides valuable job training skills for its members seeking to build a foundation for the start of a successful career.

“One of the biggest challenges to Medicaid members is finding reliable, quality employment,” said Bobby Jones, president of the Georgia market, CareSource. “CareSource, in partnership with Atlanta Public Schools, is committed to helping Medicaid members develop the skills that they will need to put themselves on a path to self-sustainability. This event will help attendees develop the skills needed to enter or re-enter the workforce with confidence.”

The Career Development Fair is free and open to the public. To attend, you must be 18 years or older and have a high school diploma or GED. Attendees are encouraged to bring several copies of a resume.
