Chick-Fil-A Unveils 5 New Menu Items

ATLANTA, GA — If you just can't get enough Chick-Fil-A, here's some good news — the Atlanta-based chicken chain unveiled five new menu items for fall on Monday.

The new options, available now at Chick-Fil-A locations, include 30-Count Nuggets, Waffle Potato Chips and what the company is calling an improved fruit cup. Also, Chick-Fil-A's catering menu will now offer what's called a grilled-chicken bundle and a spicy chilled grilled chicken sub sandwich.

"We know the beginning of the school year can be hectic for families and we hope these new options help make life a little easier for our guests," Amanda Norris, executive director of menu and packaging at Chick-Fil-A, said in a news release. "Many of our guests aren’t aware we have a catering menu, so we’re excited to introduce some new options that are perfect for an after-school snack or to entertain family, friends and co-workers."

Here's a detailed look at the five new items:

• 30-Count Nuggets. The 30-Count nuggets are available nationwide and can be ordered at the counter, through the drive-thru and via the Chick-fil-A mobile app.
• Waffle Potato Chips. Previously only available on the restaurant's catering menu, the kettle-cooked waffle cut chips are an alternate to waffle fries and are gluten-free. Waffle Potato Chips can now be purchased as a side item to pair with any entree or kid's meal.
• New Fruit Cup. Based on customer feedback, Chick-Fil-A says the fruit mix has been improved to feature fewer apples and more premium fruits. The fruit cup is served chilled with fresh strawberries, blueberries, red and green apple pieces and mandarin oranges.
• Grilled Chicken Bundle (catering). This grilled chicken option is designed to make it easy to build your own grilled chicken sandwiches. The bundle comes with 10 grilled chicken breasts, multigrain buns and toppings including Colby-Jack cheese and smoked bacon. It serves 10.
• Spicy Chilled Grilled Chicken Sub Sandwich (catering). The Spicy Chilled Grilled Chicken Sub Sandwich provides a fresh and unique option for people who love grilled chicken but want an extra spicy kick.
