Choose Healthier Habits in 2023 with National Take the Stairs Day
American Lung Association encourages Georgia residents to take the stairs and support lung health by signing up for the Fight For Air Climb

Today, Wednesday, January 11 is National Take the Stairs Day, and the American Lung Association in Georgia is challenging people in Atlanta to take the first steps towards healthier habits in 2023 by taking the stairs, and then support lung health by registering for the Fight For Air Climb at 191 Peachtree Tower.
National Take the Stairs Day is an annual observance on the second Wednesday of January that gives Americans an opportunity to adopt healthy routines like taking the stairs. Stair climbing is a great way to burn calories but is also a simple way to improve your overall health.
“Many people make resolutions to adopt healthier habits in the New Year, so National Take the Stairs Day is a fantastic way to kick off those goals as well as exercise your lungs! We would also like to invite Georgia residents to take it a step further and join us for our Fight For air Climb at 191 Peachtree Tower on April 22,” said Michele Howell, executive director for the American Lung Association.
