Clark Atlanta Student Shot While Driving In SW Atlanta
Someone shot an 18-year-old woman in the back while she was driving in SW Atlanta overnight.
ATLANTA - An 18-year-old student at Clark Atlanta was shot overnight while driving in SW Atlanta. Police said the student was shot in the back at the intersection of Lucille Avenue and Lawston Street. After she was shot, the victim crashed her Acura sedan. Police said bystanders and witnesses pulled the woman from her car. She was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment, and is last reported to be in stable condition.
Police said a young man who may be the victim's boyfriend was at the scene. They are also asking anyone with information to come forward about the case.
