Here are the top three stories today in Atlanta:
- Climate activists rallied in Atlanta this weekend to demand federal government action. The rally was coordinated by environmental, labor, and social justice groups with events occurring in numerous cities across the country. The Atlanta event was held in Liberty Plaza this past Saturday. (WABE 90.1 FM)
- The Atlanta Police Department is currently investigating two weekend shooting that involved teenagers. One shooting took place outside a Waffle House following a fight that began at Centennial Olympic Park. Another shooting reportedly occurred at a house party. The teens shot during the incidents are currently in stable condition, according to officials. (FOX 5 Atlanta)
- A Southwest Atlanta residential fire displaced multiple people on Saturday. Atlanta Fire Department crews responded to the blaze at 285 Hipp Street SW after half of the house was already consumed by fire. The department is currently investigating the cause of the fire. (11Alive.com WXIA)
