College Park Officer Killed in Motorcycle Crash

A College Park police officer is dead after he lost control of his motorcycle Monday afternoon and crashed into a median.

Sgt. David Hough was driving on I-20 in Covington around 5:30 pm when the accident happened.

He was taken to a local hospital where he later died, according to the AJC and Channel 2 Action News.

“We’re sad because Sgt. Hough was just recently promoted to the rank of sergeant, and he was an up-and-coming officer in our ranks,” said College Park Police Chief Keith Meadows.
