Convenience Store Busted For Video-Poker Gambling: GBI
In Georgia, video poker machines may legally only give credits for store merchandise or lottery tickets.

ATLANTA, GA — Arrests are pending in a bust of an Atlanta convenience store where the GBI says video poker machines were being used for illegal gambling.
On Thursday, GBI agents and other law enforcement officers executed a search warrant at the Chevron at 1683 Lakewood Ave. in Atlanta. There, authorities say, customers were receiving cash payouts for credits on the store's coin-operated video machines.
In Georgia, credits won on such machines may only be redeemed legally for store merchandise or lottery tickets.
