Crash, Car Fire Temporarily Causes I-20 W Shutdown
Details of the Interstate 20 crash Friday are unknown.
ATLANTA, GA — A car fire and a crash on the interstate had all lanes blocked early Friday morning, according to a traffic alert.
The crash happened near the Interstate 20 westbound exit to Interstate 75/85 northbound, according to the alert, which originated around 7:15 a.m. and was cleared shortly after 8:30 a.m.
Drivers were encouraged to take Memorial Drive to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive to get on I-75/85 north, Channel 2 Action News reported.
