2 Killed In Midtown Crash ID'd: Report

Authorities say a car running away from a traffic stop in midtown hit another car Thursday, resulting in two fatalities.

ATLANTA, GA — Two people who died in midtown in a car crash Thursday morning have been identified, according to 11Alive.

The Georgia State Patrol told the outlet Atlanta police were attempting to pull over a car on Northside Drive at 17th Street when it sped away and ran a red light, hitting another car.

The crash happened at Northside Drive and 14th Street, 11Alive reported.

Bracho Barriors, 39, and Gemini Jerome Jackson, 27, died in the crash, GSP told 11Alive. Others were injured.
