Delta Employee Shot, Killed In Atlanta Airport Employee Lot

ATLANTA, GA — A Delta Air Line employee was shot and killed in the employee parking lot Sunday night near the Atlanta airport, reports WSB.

In a statement, Delta confirmed to the station that shooting occurred late Sunday night in the Camp Creek employee parking lot.

"The Delta family is grieving the loss of one of our own this morning," they said.

According to College Park police, they responded to a call around 10 p.m. Sunday night and found one person shot. The victim was identified as 30-year-old Alexis Reed. She worked as a ramp worker.

The parking lot is only accessible to Delta employees and is located off Camp Creek Parkway near the Georgia International Convention Center.
