Delta Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Atlanta
Flight 1171 blew a tire after taking off from Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport and had to return.

ATLANTA, GA — A Delta Air Lines flight made an emergency landing Friday in Atlanta after the plane blew a tire after taking off from Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Flight 1171 returned to the airport, according to the AJC.
Flight 1171 was en route to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, returned and landed safely. The MD-88 was towed to the gate, and the airline said it plans to accommodate the 143 passengers onto other flights.
