Downtown Atlanta Intersection Blocked Monday Morning Due to Suspicious Packages

Two suspicious packages were found in the U.S. Post Office on Marietta Street.

Atlanta, GA -- A busy downtown Atlanta intersection was blocked Monday morning while police investigated two suspicious packages were found in the U.S. Post Office on Marietta Street.

The streets were reopened shortly after 9 am after police, including SWAT and Homeland Security teams, investigated and gave the all-clear, according to Atlanta police.
