Eight Arrested After Early Morning SWAT Standoff at Atlanta Barbershop
The standoff lasted several hours at the Crazy Cutz barbershop on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway.

ATLANTA, GA -- An early morning SWAT standoff at an Atlanta barbershop ended peacefully with eight people being arrested.
Police were called to Crazy Cutz barbershop on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway around 1 am after reports of several teens being seen with firearms. When police arrived, they said five suspects ran into the barbershop next to a tire shop.
The SWAT team surrounded the business, and around 6 am, five young adults came out with their hands up, reports Fox 5 Atlanta. Police described the operation as "textbook."

Before the suspects moved into the barbershop, police arrested three other suspects -- ages 16, 19 and 20 -- who were attempting the flee the scene, according to the AJC. One of those suspects was hiding under a vehicle, and a rifle was also found.
After the suspects came out of the barbershop, police then used tear gas to disperse any other suspects that may have been inside.
