ElectroBike Georgia will open its second Atlanta location on Sept. 1, 2017 in the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood. The new retail and rental shop is located at 660 Irwin Street, Atlanta, GA 30312, just steps from the Atlanta Beltline and adjacent to Irwin Street Market. ElectroBikes will be available for purchase or rental by the hour, with all safety equipment provided. The company’s flagship Atlanta store opened in Brookhaven last year. www.electrobikega.com
“In the relatively short time since it was built, the Atlanta Beltline has become the epicenter of recreational cycling for Atlantans of all ages and abilities,” said Eric Hunger, president of ElectroBike Georgia. “ElectroBikes are perfect for the Beltline. They can be operated just like traditional bicycles, or the rider can turn on the quiet electric motor to engage the pedal assist feature or throttle. ElectroBikes encourage people to enjoy cycling at their own pace, with no concerns about returning to their starting point at the end of the ride.”
ElectroBikes are state-of-the art, quiet, electric bicycles powered by a rechargeable Lithium ion battery. The batteries recharge in about an hour and a half simply by plugging them into a standard wall outlet, making the bikes perfect for commuters. Some models even fold up so they can easily be taken into a home or office.

“People sometimes tell me they’re reluctant to try cycling because of Atlanta’s hilly terrain,” said Hunger. “However, that’s not an issue with an electric bicycle. Distance is no longer a problem, either, since riders can use the motor to finish their ride if they get tired. People are pleasantly surprised at how easy and fun ElectroBikes are to use, and now with our first rental shop open, it’s easy for anyone to try one out.”
The new retail and rental shop at 660 Irwin Street is open 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday. ElectroBike Georgia’s first retail store in the state is located in Brookhaven’s Brighten Park Shopping Center (2484 Briarcliff Road, NE, Atlanta, GA 30329). The brand was launched in Mexico in 2012 and quickly spread to the U.S. www.electrobikega.com, www.facebook.com/electrobikega
