This September arts and cultural organizations will get a boost as the ELEVATE Atlanta Art Festival promotes Atlanta artists and arts organizations who are adding to the city’s rich cultural offerings by painting murals, opening new exhibitions, sprucing up neighborhood parks, and presenting music and dance performances.

“Immediately following the Atlanta Jazz Festival this Labor Day Weekend, ELEVATE 2021 will get into full swing,” states Camille Russell Love, Executive Director of the City of Atlanta Mayor’s Office of Cultural Affairs. “We will amplify the work of cultural organizations and independent artists and help ignite interest in happenings around the city. We’re also creating and curating some of our own exciting events. Museums and venues have COVID-19 protocols in place, and as people attend events, we encourage everyone to follow guidelines and CDC recommendations as we move forward safely.

“ELEVATE: REOPEN, REIGNITE & RECONNECT will take place on weekends in September and October,” Russell Love continues. “We are finalizing some of our later events, so we thought we’d share highlights of activities you can enjoy during September in the following neighborhoods.”
