Extras Needed: 'Spider-Man: Homecoming' Shooting in Atlanta This Week

ATLANTA, GA — Extras are needed forthis week's shootingof a New York City street scene in the upcoming "Spider-Man: Homecoming" movie being shot in Atlanta.

According to Project Casting, filming will take place on Monday, August 29, and Friday, Sept. 2. Casting directors are looking for men and women ages 18 to 75, and producers are especially looking for “Hispanics, Sikhs, Hasidic Jewish men, West Indian, East Indian, Asian , Middle Eastern” men and women to work on the feature film.

"Spider-Man: Homecoming" stars Robert Downey, Jr., Tom Holland and Marisa Tomei. It focuses on Spider-Man’s childhood before and after he joins the Avengers.
