FBI Probes Bomb Threat On ATL-Bound Plane: Report
Authorities told a media outlet no explosive device was found despite an AirDrop message claiming an explosive was on the plane.
ATLANTA — The FBI is investigating a potential bomb threat made on a Frontier flight that traveled from Baltimore, Maryland, to the Atlanta airport late Thursday, Atlanta News First reported.
A Flight 1571 passenger notified a flight attendant of an anonymous AirDrop message they had received that claimed an explosive was on the plane, the outlet reported. However, authorities said there was no explosive device found on the aircraft, the outlet reported.
