4 Arrested After Public Paintball Battle: Cops

Police confiscated nine paintball guns, about 7,500 paintballs and one real gun.

ATLANTA, GA — The Atlanta Police Department made some late night arrests Monday, after police responded to a damaged property call and found people in a paintball battle.

Around 10 p.m., Atlanta police got to the 900 block of Washington Place, according to their Facebook page. They saw people in the street "shooting paintballs at each other."

They scattered when the cops arrived, but four were caught. Police confiscated nine paintball guns, about 7,500 paintballs, 20 carbon dioxide tanks and one firearm.

Police said they were aware of recent similar incidents, in which people with paintball guns shot at property and people. They ask that if you see people shooting paintball guns out in public, then to call 911.
